it's a dandelion. eventually the flower petals fall away, and then this is what is left. see, with a dandelion, you pick them, and then you do this little rhyme "(insert name here) had a baby and her head popped off" and then as you say off... you flick the head of the dandelion off as well. when they turn white like this... you can pick them... and do one of two things with it. blow on it, and however many of those little things left on it, is suppost to be the number of kids you have. or, you make a wish, and try to blow all of them off. if you succeed, your wish comes true. it's all fun, "kids-sitting-outside-in-the-grass-playi ng-games" type stuff. but yeah... i really like this photo. the black and white makes it look really nice. good job.
